Hi!  I'm Susan and I am an on location, natural light photographer located in Wichita, Kansas. I am a native of Wichita, and have had a passion for photography since I can remember. My passion continued to grow throughout the years, and I have been capturing memories for family and friends for many years, and officially started my photography business in 2012.  In 2014, I made the decision to specialize in high school seniors because I absolutely love their energy, their passion, their excitement for the future, and enjoy getting to know each and every one of them!  Having the opportunity to document this special time in their lives is so exciting, and my hope is that they will look back on their senior session and remember it as being one of the highlights of their senior year! I do offer a limited number of lifestyle family sessions throughout the year, but only as my schedule allows.  My shooting style is very casual and relaxed, and my number one goal is to provide you with beautiful, unique, lifestyle images, incorporating movement and emotion, with a bit of an artistic flare.  I am not a high volume photographer, and only schedule a limited number of sessions so I can provide you with a very personal experience.  I have been married to my husband Kirby for over 30 years, and we have two incredible children, Keaton and Kylie.  We are also blessed with a beautiful daughter-in-law, Chandra, who is married to our son Keaton, and we just recently became grandparents to a precious baby girl named Ella Mae!  We have an incredibly close extended family, and are so blessed that we all live here in Wichita. We also have two Australian Shepherds, named Kash and Jerzey, and if you follow me on Facebook, Instagram, or Snapchat, I'm sure you've probably seen them as they make regular appearances on my social media.  My social media is filled with a mixture of photography, family, and personal life, because that is what's most important to me. I am so grateful for every aspect of my life, and document a little bit of everything so you can get a small glimpse into my world.  My entire family has been extremely supportive throughout the years, and my husband has been amazing.  He has hauled, purchased, carried, and set up countless props, and assisted me on so many shoots I've lost count. He is also an incredible cook, very artistic, has a great sense of humor, and doesn't know a stranger. Sharing my passion with others brings me so much joy, and I know how important it is to me to have those precious memories of our children, family, and friends documented, and I love doing that for others. It's pretty amazing to be able to do something you love so much, and at the same time bring joy and happiness to others.
